Today was a particularly draining day. But amidst it all, I found out where and with whom my home really is.... But that's another story. My day is as follows: I woke up and six and eventually willed myself (or rather got sick of Nate harassing me) to get out of bed wayyy past my alarm. Went to work, which was fine and rather sunny and ended up being able to leave early. Had a lovely afternoon with Nate at Home Depot, perusing the flower department countless times to find exactly the right combination of floral things for his mother's hanging basket in honor of her 46th birthday. Spent some time at home with Dylan and mom and dropped some laundry off. Regrettably, my mother will end up washing, folding, and ironing just about every shirt, crease, and maybe even sock in that pile. She can never just wait for me to get there and let it be. Anyway, she's wonderful and I appreciate her very much. Spent a night at Patty's (Nate's mother) house with her and Debbie, playing quarters and eating vegetarian pizza. There were many harassing comments about my habit of picking off just about every disgusting vegetable on that pizza. Which was pretty much every vegetable. What...? Vegetarian suggests a lack of meat, not an excess of vegetables. All in all, I'm drained and can't believe I'm still up writing this (probably only for Mimi's benefit). Tomorrow is my first day at my new job. I'll write more actually interesting and thoughtful things next post. Promise.
Oh! I also have an AWESOME new picture of hanging on my wall, courtesy of my mom. It's one of Van Gogh's sunflower paintings. Yay for having an obscene amount of Van Gogh artwork flooding my room.

I appreciate the thought Shay. Believe me, it helps to lay it out. It does a great deal for me. It's also nice because I can feel like we had a conversation where you told me all these things.
